Busy Start to 2020

Things have been busy (but good!) in the lab, as different projects move forward and there have been opportunities to share some exciting science about teen and early adult development with different audiences. Most recently, Dr. Booker traveled to New Orleans, LA to share research at the Society for Personality and Social Psychology annual meeting. His talks addressed family storytelling and the importance of having memories of parents and grandparents to carry in our daily lives, as well as the importance of major motivations in young adults’ life stories. The poster from that one of these conference activities is available at the link below.

The lab is also continuing to recruit families and adult participants for our differing research projects this spring. We have a number of student research assistants who are excitedly contributing to current data analysis efforts. Many of these students will also be presenting research over the spring that is relevant to the lab. We will be glad to share their progress as things continue to move forward.
